Redplanet Group (RPG) is a leading IT solutions provider and a GIS company based in Malaysia, India, and Australia that fulfills the needs of industries across the globe.

Started out as RedPM Solutions Sdn Bhd in 2014. It adopted its present name, RedPlanet Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd, on 1 March 2016. The establishment purpose of RedPlanet Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is to ensure we deliver excellent quality of work to meet customer expectation continuously.

After securing its first GIS solution contract for a major power utilities company in Malaysia, our group has now evolved into a multi-platform business solutions provider adding value to core business that this company founds. As of August 2020, it has been listed in the LEAP Market on Bursa Malaysia as RedPlanet Group.

One of the key offerings is our smart city solution, which utilizes advanced technologies to enhance urban infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents. We also specialize in GIS for agriculture, providing tailored solutions to optimize farming practices and increase productivity.

In addition, RPG excels in GIS integration, seamlessly integrating geospatial data into existing systems to enable efficient decision-making processes. The company boasts a team of skilled GIS developers who create customized solutions according to client requirements.

Furthermore, RPG provides drone surveying services, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles to capture high-resolution imagery and collect accurate geospatial data for mapping and analysis purposes. Lian Wah Seng

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr. Lian Wah Seng was appointed to the RedPlanet Berhad Board on 22 November 2019 as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman. Mr. Lian graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce double major in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from the University of New South Wales. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and he has more than 20 years working experience in the fields of IT, finance and consultancy. Mr. Lian is the Chief Executive Officer of AZTI Technology Sdn Bhd. He is tasked with the responsibility of creating, planning, implementing and integrating the strategic direction of the company.

Phong Hon Wai

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Phong Hon Wai was appointed to the RedPlanet Berhad Board on 27 May 2019 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr. Phong graduated from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia with a Bachelor of Business. Mr. Phong has over twenty (20) years’ experience in public accounting practices and is presently the principal partner of Messrs. MW. Phong, Messrs. MW (partnership) and Messrs. Mcdonald Carter (partnership) and Messrs. HWTP Tax Sdn. Bhd., Messrs. HP Tax Services Sdn. Bhd., respectively audit firms and taxation firms.

Chow Pooi Onn

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Chow Pooi Onn has over 18 years of experience in financial management, taxation, risk management as well as corporate planning. He began his career as an Audit Assistant with a local audit firm in 2003. In 2004, he joined Ernst & Young as an Audit Associate and rose through the ranks before being promoted to Assistant Audit Manager in 2007. He then joined Sunway City Berhad in 2008 as Finance Manager and was subsequently promoted to Senior Finance Manager within the group in 2011. During his tenure with Sunway, he was actively involved in the initial public listing exercise, corporate planning and financial management matters of Sunway REIT. Prior to his appointment as the Chief Financial Officer of RedPlanet Berhad, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Newfields Capital Sdn Bhd group of companies and AZTI Technology Sdn Bhd group of companies.

CATHERINE LEE

Project Director

Ms. Catherine has over 19 years of professional working experience in more than 20 GIS related projects focusing on system implementation, project management and change management.

Throughout the years she had progressed from being a software engineer to project manager in the GIS & IT systems implementation environment.

She has been managing teams of various sizes for a variety of project purposes. This includes managing client team members ensuring effective transfer of knowledge from the project team to the client and conducting end user trainings.

AZHAR AHMAD

Executive Director

Mr. Azhar is the founding Director and has been jointly spearheading the business growth of the company since its incorporation. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and primarily involved in overseeing the project deliveries and project administration of the company.

He has more than 20 years of combined working experience in GIS covering specifically sectors such as the power and utilities industry, energy, mobile and telecommunications, gas and civil engineering and other businesses spanning across continents in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

PK SENTHILKUMAR

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. P.K. Senthilkumar, has over 19 years of GIS experience working in several countries including US, Australia, India, Brazil and South Africa providing expert GIS consulting services in varying capacity.

PK has worked with various companies including GE, America Electric Power, SCE (US), Ergon (Australia), Eskom (South Africa).

He graduated with a MS degree in GIS from Iowa State University (USA) and is an established speaker at various GIS conferences around the world.
